The two fibres, when dyed, pick up the colour differently, so the yarn has a beautiful semi-solid look, and a delicate sheen. We’re so in love with our Springtime Blanket knit and crochet along project! Designed by the fabulous Chloe Elizabeth Birch, the Springtime Blanket is a modular blanket of flowers using three different kinds of colourwork – the intarsia, Fair Isle and Swiss darning techniques. What’s wonderful, is that we have the same beautiful blanket in knit and crochet versions, so you can join in with whichever craft you love!

In this beautiful garden of spring flowers, we have daffodils, tulips, bluebells, hyacinths and pansies and we just love how Chloe has managed to replicate the knitting and crochet stitches for them!
